VINTAGE AND CLASSIC CAR HIRE
Vintage and Classic Car Hire was born out of a passion for old cars and their preservation and above all, continued use on our public highways. Founded by the company owner, Tim Grigsby, who has an eclectic collection of cars, including a 1904 Humberette London to Brighton runner, a 1914 Sunbeam Edwardian tourer, 1926 Bullnose Morris trials car and a plethora of classic cars. Tim also races a 1960s Austin Healey around all the major UK circuits throughout the year and has a collection of old and interesting motorcycles.
Having been brought up by “petrolhead” parents, his mum was a very successful rally driver and his dad a world authority on car restoration, it was no accident that this passion carries on today. Tim likes to share his passion, and all the cars in the collection, whether on the hire fleet or otherwise, are maintained regardless of cost.
The classic cars for hire are centred around the MG marque, with MG Midgets, MGB Roadster and GT models but Tim quickly added a Morgan Roadster V6 to the fleet, which the team have all fallen in love with! I’m sure there will be more added very soon – so watch this space!

On a recent trip to London we decided to see a bit of Essex. It only took an hour from London on the train and we picked the MGB GT and a picnic up just outside the station. My husband and I spent a lovely day touring the Essex countryside with a yummy hamper of food.
